I’m excited to announce that this week two more of my designs were chosen as an Editors Pick to be showcased on Zazzle. It looks like over at Zazzle they’re getting ready to usher in some autumn hues, since both of these designs feature a black and orange color scheme.
First up is my Monarch Butterfly Happy Birthday mug. It features the message HAPPY BIRTHDAY spelled out in hand drawn lettering on some black butterfly wings with white spots to give the look of a monarch butterfly. I was inspired to create this artwork after seeing so many butterflies including some monarchs this summer in our yard, though I was upset to read the sad news that monarch butterflies have been added to the endgangered species list. This artwork is also available on cards, wrapping paper and party supplies. I think this mug would make a perfect gift especially if it was filled with some candy or other yummy treats, some flavored tea bags or some gourmet coffee. Continuing with the black and orange color scheme, but with a look that is definitely way more fall-themed is my other Editors Pick of the week, my Home Sweet Haunted Home Wood sign. This Halloween decor features some spooky graphics including bats, witchy cats, a tombstone and spooky Halloween trees in black against an orange background. It also has the message “Home Sweet Haunted Home” in some seasonally appropriate black lettering. This small wooden sign is perfect for adding some Halloween decor to your home, your desk or other small spaces.
