I’m excited to announce that my Fishy Floral pattern was a top finisher in Spoonflower’s recent Surrealist Wallpaper design challenge.  I had a lot of fun creating this slightly weird and bizarre pattern.

At first glance this design might look like a classic floral damask wallpaper pattern with assorted botanical graphics in a cream color against a dark teal background, but take a closer look and you’ll see there’s something fishy about this pattern, specifically fish in place of some of the flowers.

Who is this design for? Well, anyone who likes things just a little bit weird, or maybe you need to wallpaper a bathroom and can’t decide between going with a fish or floral print.
