Sometimes when I create artwork I like to create realistic depictions of animals, flowers and other objects and sometimes I like to take things in a more whimsical direction with cartoonish graphics. But for my latest Zazzle collection I went bananas. Literally. That’s because my new banana dog collection features illustrations of cute little wiener dogs that are made out of bananas. Why? Well, mainly because I could.
In all honesty I had a lot of fun creating these fruity little dachshund pups. They are all made out of bits and pieces of ripe yellow bananas tinged every so slightly with light green, and if I do say so myself, they look almost good enough to eat. You shouldn’t play with your food, but if it’s just for the sake of a fun illustration, then play away, I say.
You can even make your very own banana dog plushie with this cute dog cut and sew fabric panel. It’s easy to cut out, sew together and stuff your own banana dog stuffed animal, and it makes a great gift for beginner sewists who need a fun and easy starter sewing project.
You’ll find lots more in this fun and fruity collection like graphic tees, custom jigsaw puzzles and custom invites and party supplies that will help you host an event that’s sure to be bananas, but in a good way!
To see all these products and more, head on over to my Banana Dog Collection on Zazzle. And remember, a banana a day keeps the veterinarian away. (Or something like that!)
You’ll find these freshly picked doxies on an assortment of items in my Zazzle shop. Like this personalized banana dog coffee mug with its wraparound illustration of a cute little puppy dog with a banana for a body. For someone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen this banana dogs apron is a perfect fit. It’s got an all over tropical print that’s reminsicent of a Hawaiian shirt pattern with cute yellow banana dogs and green palm leaves set against a bright blue background. This fun print apron is perfect for adding some summer hues to your kitchen ensemble. Best of all this apron is ready to be personalized with a name in bold yellow lettering that coordinates with the dog graphics as well as the matching yellow straps and ties.
