The weather’s heating up here, which means the weeds in the backyard are growing like, well, weeds. So, it’s the perfect time to introduce the latest surface pattern design that’s now available in the Delfuneum Spoonflower shop.
Wild Weeds is a large format pattern. This botanical print in bold shades features illustrations of an assortment of pretty weeds including bittercress, daisy fleabane, dandelions, field bindweed, ragweed, goldenrod, ivy, jimsonweed, milkweed, smartweed, sow thistle, teasel, tick trefoil, velvetleaf and yarrow. The non-directional style of the print makes it ideal for an assortment of products.
Most botanical prints strive for realistic, natural colors with lots of greens and yellows, but I decided to go in a different direction with my Wild Weeds design. These bright and modern colors aren’t especially realistic to the various plants they depict, but they make for a bold and eye-catching design with leaves and blooms in bright red, perwinkle blue and orchid purple set against a black background.
Wild Weeds is available on fabric, wallpaper and an assortment of home decor products from Spoonflower. You can browse the different Wild Weeds designs today on Spoonflower.
